Job Description:

We are a reputable Chartered Accountancy firm seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Article/Paid Assistants. The candidate will work under the guidance of experienced professionals, gaining exposure to various accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial advisory practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting and Bookkeeping:

Maintaining financial records and assisting in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Posting journal entries and managing ledgers.

Taxation:

Assisting in preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and income tax returns.

Helping with tax audits and tax planning for clients.

Keeping up to date with the latest amendments in tax laws and regulations.

Auditing:

Assisting in statutory and internal audits, including verification of financial records.

Preparing audit reports and documenting audit findings.

Conducting vouching and verification of expenses, revenues, and other transactions.

Compliance:

Assisting with ROC filings, company law matters, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Ensuring timely submission of all required financial documents and returns.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

Assisting in the analysis of financial data and preparing management reports.

Supporting in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

Client Interaction:

Communicating with clients to gather necessary financial information and address any concerns.

Assisting in resolving client queries related to tax, accounts, and financial matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong understanding of accounting principles and taxation laws.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, etc.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work in a team environment and manage time effectively.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Education and Experience:

Enrolled in CA Articleship or completed CA Inter/IPCC.

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field (preferred for Paid Assistant).

Relevant experience in a CA firm (preferred but not mandatory).
